Regedit Tool …

If you do not know about Windows Registry, Please read the article ”What is Windows Registry”  first, Click here to read it. Now you are mindful of registry importance, you cannot edit any registry values yet. For this section, I just only bring you to know an edited registry tool which is useful for editing registry in the future.

For changing a registry value, we cannot use a general software to open the registry database, but we have a tool to make this special function which Windows already supply in a software called Regedit.

Regedit is a software tool for finding, and editing your computer’s Windows Registry. Besides, we use this software to backup all the Windows Registry for preventing your computer damage.

To launch Regedit software. Firstly, click “Start > Run”. Now, type regedit in the Run box. Then Click OK button. Windows will bring you to the Registry Editor window.

In the Registry Editor area. It has two parts, left one and right one. The left part shows the name of the KEYs and SUBKEYs in your computer registry. The right part shows the values under each KEYs or SUBKEYs. Please relize that “Don’t change any registry values”, I will tell you how to edit registry next time.
