This way can only work in LAN, if you want to access your home PC in your office or access your office PC from home, most likely it will fail. Because you PC do not have a public IP. I am using Gooer Remote Desktop Service and it let me can access my PCs from anywhere. I can using IE/Firefox on my laptop or mobile phones to access my PCs. It has a beta version that support iPhone as well.

That is a great tool, just leave your computer on at home with the program and type in the ID and password in your office computer when you need it. No problem with any firewalls, IPs or something else. Hope I was able to help.
