Disabling unnecessary programs that load when the Windows starts up

For this tip, we will use MSCONFIG to decrease loading program while the Windows Xp starts up. Some programs can be excluded to speed up your computer. Ok, let you begin now.

• Click Start > Run and type msconfig then press Enter. the Windows Xp will bring you to the System Configuration Utility window.
• In the Startup tab, you can see the list of programs that are loading when you boot your computer.
• Uncheck the Startup Items which is the unnecessary programs. For example, Winamp Agent, Real tray, Office startup, Adobe Reader speed launch. If you are not sure whether the programs are necessary or not, keep it check the box. Remember that you must uncheck only the programs that you recognize and do not want them to load every time at startup.
• After finish unchecking the unnecessary programs, then click OK and restart your computer.
