How to hide some parts of the Internet Options menu ?

Today’s tip will teach you to conceal some parts of the Internet Options menu. The menu can be found in the IE toolbar in the path of Tools > Internet Options… .Editing wrong Internet properties can be a serious problem in some parts of system processing.

• Go to Start > Run and type regedit then click Ok.
• Go to the path like the following,

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft

• Right click on the Microsoft folder and choose Next > Key.

• To name it, type Internet Explorer.

• Right click on the Internet Explorer folder and select New > DWORD Value.

• Name it GeneralTab.

• To edit the registry value, double click on GeneralTab which is in the right hand of the Registry Editor window. Then change the value to 1 instead of 0.

• Click on the OK button in the Edit DWORD Value window.

• Open Internet Options to see the General tab disappeared. The other tabs such as Security, Content, Connections, Privacy, Programs, Advanced and Accessibility tab can be hidden as well, but we must create and name Registry DWORD matched the tab in the Internet Properties window. The names of registry DWORD are provided in the following.
