A Range of Industrial Wireless Products

Posted by admin  Published in Wireless LAN

Industrial wireless products may be what your company needs to optimize its Internet usage. Such products make industrial devices directly accessible from the wireless network. This type of system eliminates physical wires while providing key benefits to your network, including mobility, flexibility, wider coverage, and cost saving. People can use wireless technology for short-range, long-range, and cellular devices.

Bluetooth devices eliminate the need for short cables. While Bluetooth devices only work within about a twenty-foot radius, they do make an office much neater and more versatile. You will no longer have to worry about hiding a wire beneath the carpet if you want to move your printer across the room from your keyboard. It also helps keep employees desks less cluttered which helps optimise productivity. If you have ever picked up wireless in a coffee shop, chances are it was through an 802.11 Wi-Fi system. These systems provide robust wireless network connectivity for associated computers up to 300 feet away from the access point. The most powerful are 900 MHz industrial wireless products. These work for whole buildings, going for a range of up to forty miles.

Wireless LAN operate on 2.4 GHz Frequency.

Posted by admin  Published in Wireless LAN

Wireless Network was firstly developed in 1980. The 900 MHz frequency with ISM Band was used in this development. In this frequency band, Wireless Network is able to receive and transmit data at the same time. For this reason, they could save much cost and were easy for developing. However, the frequency, 900 MHz, had been already used or reserved in most countries for mobile phones. Many manufacturers could not distribute their 900 MHz wireless products so the Wireless LAN was not popular yet.

In 1990, The Wireless Network was developed in 2.4 GHz frequency. Because of the high frequency, the transceiver devices were uneasy to develop. At that time, some countries did not allocate 2.4 GHz yet so this development could be growing up more than other network systems. Each manufacturer independently created the wireless systems so the wireless devices from different producer were not compatible. This problem could be solved by an organization called IEEE in 1992. IEEE organization create the standard for the Wireless LAN called 802.11 standard to specify the Wireless LAN generation. Wireless LAN standard was divided into three main groups as the frequencies. The first group is 2.4 GHz frequency. The second group is 5 GHz frequency and the last one is Infrared communication. The use of 2.4 GHz frequency is the most popular whereas the Infrared is outdated because the Infrared operate in low speed and the Infrared transceivers must be put in Line of Sight.

It’s not only easy to use but also easy to set up the network systems. Therefore, the Wireless LAN is one of the interesting solutions for anyone.

The differences between the Wired and Wireless LAN.Before we know how does the Wireless LAN work. We should know the differences between the Wired and Wireless LAN. In the past, the developments of data communications are in the wire medium. Therefore, we know the distance of signal
